Project Coordinator

Originally from Memphis, Christian serves as the project coordinator for School Leaders with primary responsibility for the Teacher-Leader Collaborative Grants program. Christian oversees communication, the grant application and review process, and support for applicant and grantee teams.

Before joining School Leaders, Christian worked as University Assisted Community Schools Coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania, overseeing out-of-school time (OST) programming in five West Philadelphia schools before becoming Penn’s Engagement Coordinator at the Henry C. Lea School. At Lea, Christian managed external partnerships, earned two grants for the school, and led workshops on racial equity and empathy.

Christian is the author of a chapter in Opportunities and Challenges at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Pennsylvania.
