I became a principal to help ensure that every student achieves to their full social, emotional and academic potential in order to develop the tools that they need to grow into confident successful adults who can navigate the demands of the 21st century and become contributing citizens to society.”

Wendy has served as the principal of Universal Creighton Charter School since 2014. Under her leadership, Universal Creighton Charter School achieved a 20% increase in Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) English Language Arts scores, a 9% increase in Math PSSA scores and was twice recognized by the School Progress Report (SPR) as a Peer Leader.

 

Wendy has been an educator since 2000.  Prior to becoming a principal, Wendy served as a special education teacher, 8th trade teacher, and teacher coach. Wendy grew up in Philadelphia, PA and attended Philadelphia High School for Girls.
