I became a Neubauer Fellow so that I could grow in my ability to serve my school community and, ultimately, help our children grow.

Nick has served as Principal of St. Helena-Incarnation Catholic School since 2017. Under his leadership, math achievement increased from 32% to 59% of students being on grade level in math. The percentage of students on grade level in English also increased during this time. Teacher retention increased dramatically since Nick started as Principal. Additionally, community support for St. Helena-Incarnation also expanded under Nick’s leadership.

Nick started his career in education with the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program out of the University of Notre Dame. Through the program, Nick taught at an under-resourced school in Atlanta for two years and he remained committed to education since his time in ACE.

Nick grew up just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania, and attended Reading Central Catholic High School.
