PASL Welcomes Natalie Catin St. Louis to the Team!

The Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders (PASL) is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Natalie Catin St. Louis, as Program Director. Natalie is a certified executive leadership coach, seasoned educator, and 2018 Neubauer Senior Fellow (Cohort 4) who brings the power of education, coaching, and leadership development into every facet of her work. In her role at PASL, Natalie will oversee our Instructional Leadership Academy and Senior Fellow programming, creating transformative learning experiences for school leaders to serve Philadelphia students. This role will work in concert with the larger PASL team to deliver a comprehensive range of professional development programs, tailored to support Philadelphia school and system leaders at every stage of their careers.

Natalie joins us from the School District of Philadelphia, where she served as a PCC-certified Executive Leadership Coach, supporting new and aspiring school leaders. Her extensive experience in coaching and leadership development, grounded in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, has helped leaders articulate their vision and develop strategies for personal and professional growth.

With a career in education spanning over two decades, Natalie has held various leadership roles, including principal, reading specialist, staff developer, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Her leadership has led to significant improvements in student outcomes and multiple recognitions for turnaround success and high achievement. As principal at George W. Nebinger Elementary from 2017 to 2021, Natalie oversaw major growth in student math and reading proficiency on the PSSAs as well as a 9.5% increase of students attending school 95% of the time.

Natalie holds two master’s degrees from Bank Street College and Teachers College, Columbia University, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in educational leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of her professional work, she is a dedicated wife and mother to two young daughters.
