David is principal at William W. Bodine High School, a role he started in March, 2025. Most recently he served as the principal of Ad Prima Charter School – Overbrook Campus from 2018 to 2025. Under his leadership, Ad Prima Charter School – Overbrook Campus achieved a 4% increase on the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) in English Language Arts (ELA) and a 10% increase in Science scores. Additionally, Ad Prima Charter School achieved a 6% increase in Math PSSA scores and all 8th grade students were accepted and are attending a Philadelphia magnet high school or competitive private school.

David has been an educator since 2007. Prior to becoming a principal, David served as a teacher, special education teacher, special education coordinator, director of specialized services and assistant principal. David was a Philadelphia Teaching Fellow and Philly PLUS Fellow. David grew up in Philadelphia, PA and Kuwait City, Kuwait.
