Neubauer Fellow Named Principal of Masterman

Julia R. Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School, cited as one of the most prestigious schools in Philadelphia, welcomes Jeannine Hendricks Payne (2019 Fellow) as principal! Jeannine is a former Masterman student and will become its first Black leader. Students, families, and staff shared that Jeannine’s depth of knowledge as a school leader paired with her unwavering commitment to address the lack of opportunities for Black and brown students is exactly what Masterman needs at this critical moment.
