Our vision is of a vibrant educational community where female leaders thrive and lead with confidence. We aim to inspire and support female education leaders to make a lasting impact on education, fostering innovation and equity for all.

The Voices of Women in Leadership Collective—a partnership between Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders and the Neubauer Family Foundation for senior fellows—will focus on empowering female education leaders by providing a supportive network that fosters, growth, reflection, and meaningful dialogue. The facilitators for the collective will be the Superintendent of Hartford Public Schools Dr. Leslie Torres-Rodriguez and former Superintendent for the City School District of Albany Kaweeda G. Adams, while the collective chairs will be Dr. Shakeera Warthen-Canty (Cohort 3) Assistant Superintendent for SDP and Antoinette Powell (Cohort 2) Principal of George McCall School. We strive to equip our members with the tools and connections they need to excel in their leadership roles and drive positive change in education.
