“I proudly serve as a principal to positively impact the educational experiences of children, teachers, and families. I became a Neubauer Fellow to engage in rich and meaningful professional development, to collaborate with others, and to gain additional tools to improve student achievement. The Neubauer Fellowship has provided me with top-notch coaching and I continue to grow and improve as an instructional leader.”

Lisa has served as the principal of Joseph W. Catharine Elementary School since 2016. Under her leadership, Catharine Elementary School achieved 10% growth in students attending school 95% of dayas. Catharine Elementary School was featured in the Philadelphia Tribune for its Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) efforts and received a $25,000 Matching Grant through the Neubauer Family Foundation and MainLine Arts Center.

 

Lisa has been an educator since 2000. Prior to becoming a principal, Lisa served as an assistant principal, building union representative, professional learning community leader, and 5th/6th grade teacher. Lisa grew up in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
